Cierra was born and raised in central New Jersey.  She started dancing at the age of 5.  She received training in the genres of ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and gymnastics. She was under the direction of Carolyn Watson at the Watson Johnson Dance Studio and Shaffers Gymnastics.  Throughout the years, she focused more on the style of hip hop and drill and competed in both styles of dance.  Cierra is also a certified Zumba instructor.

In 2016 Cierra was welcomed as an assistant at Dance It Out Studio and Flip It Out Studio.  She was also trained and certified in 2018 as a tumbling coach through Tumbling Effects. 

Cierra currently resides in South Hill with her husband and two children, Lailah and Andrew Malkin Jr.
